A.You can expect to have lots of fun and to enjoy yourselves!

A.You can expect a personalised approach from the first time we speak! I ask about you, your event, and make sure we have key photos planned in advance so there is plenty of time to capture everything. I shoot in a story-teller style, which means I also capture details and candids which show the day as it's happening. I'm not afraid to ask you or your friends to check if you look good for the first few shots so we can make sure we get your best sides!

I can also capture an event completely unposed and discreetly, which means I will blend into the background and capture moments as they unfold.

A.I love creating a mixture of posed and natural (candid) photos, and can always capture more of one or the other. I give fun prompts and engage with everyone, asking questions that bring out the best in everyone. It's essential for me to work out what's most important to you photography-wise (whether it's your vibe as a couple or your style as a brand).

A.Yes! I offer an "Every 7 Successful Referrals" scheme for all my clients. Once you hit the magic number 7, you'll receive a free family shoot including digital images to keep as a token of thanks.*

A.* It is also possible to build up recommendations without booking with me. This means you can earn a free shoot by successfully recommending me for any type of shoot. Your free shoot may also be used as a gift. Booking multiple shoots yourself with me also contributes to the scheme. Members of the same family can team up to pool their recommendations together. Your 7 successful referrals must be bookings that I am able to take.

A.It’s true that us photographers will capture as many things as we can, but details certainly help me deliver a more personal gallery. The short answer is that if I know all of these details in advance, you can focus on simply getting married and enjoying your day.

Some examples:
- Your grandma made the confetti - she hand-picked and dried the flowers herself. I’d make sure I get a really beautiful shot of confetti in her hand, and if I can, your grandma holding the basket too.

- Your late grandpa made a bottle of alcohol on the day you were born and you’re handing shots out before dessert. This tray of shots is a really important detail shot that I will prioritise over any other drink served in that moment. Perhaps I can get the tray with the original bottle besides it too.

- Your evening outfit is made from your mum’s original dress. Perhaps when your mum helps you put on your dress, I can incorporate your evening dress hanging in the background of photos rather than just a solo shot of it.

A.Apart from the self-explanatory reading-them-out so we don’t miss any groups on the day (which saves so much time), it’s so important for me to build a personal rapport with the most important people attending your wedding! Knowing your mum is called Wendy means I can get along with her from the start. I can compliment her dress by name, I can call out to her during bridal prep, and knowing and memorising names in advance builds a beautiful connection with all of your guests. Your mum may tell me her two sisters are there from Australia and “can we please get a picture together” because she feels comfortable enough around me to ask. These details make your day personal to everyone who you value. A picture is not just a picture, but also the feeling you had in that moment too, and this is for everyone you’ve invited to the best of my ability.
